Michiel Poodt (1968) is an Amsterdam based photographer. He attended the ‘MTS voor fotografie’ , graduated from the Royal Academy of Art (Den Haag) in 1992 and has shot campaigns for many clients. Michiel’s non commissioned works are diverse and usually focus on a surreal interpretation of the subject.

In his recent project “MADADAM” he explores the beauty of reflections in the Amsterdam canals to create abstracts of Amsterdam landmarks that are just beyond recognition. The selected images are presented as’ double-square’ prints and as scarves.
