I’m Jet van Gaal, an Amsterdam-based portrait and fine art photographer. My work revolves around uncovering the beauty of human vulnerability and bringing attention to often-overlooked details. I draw inspiration from the diversity of humanity and nature, using my photography to reveal hidden strengths and beauty through a change in perspective.

In 2018, I graduated from the Amsterdam Photo Academy with my project “Blueprint,” which earned me a nomination for the Dupho SO Student Award. This series was exhibited during the Art Route of Haarlem and Fotofestival Naarden.Today, I am dedicated to my independent projects and collaborating with clients to create authentic portraits.

My latest project, “Kachou Fuugestu,” had the honor of being exhibited in two Dutch galleries in 2022 and is currently represented by the Sandvoort Gallery.
