Gilles Boeuf was born in Boulogne-Billancourt (France), son of a French-Russian father and a Dutch mother. He worked as a freelance photographer untill 2017, today he only concentrates on his personal work. He is part of the collective Self Publishers United after publishing his photobook Place (2021).
